On May 20th 2010 in Fort Walton Beach, the Florida-Alabama, Okaloosa-Walton, and Bay County Transportation Planning Organizations (TPO) hosted the 3rd Annual Northwest Florida Regional Transit Roundtable. The 2010 theme was: "Sustainable Transportation and Economic Growth - Public Transit Regionally looking forward and moving onward".
Purpose:
The purpose of this Annual Public Transportation Technical Workshop was to bring together transit stakeholders in an effort to gather input and provide informational tools for promoting public transit's sustainable transportation and economic development benefits withing the Northwest Florida Region.
